What happens to the data we collect?

All information will be stored safely and securely by the University of Bristol – in line with the General Data Protection Regulations and the University of Bristol’s Data Protection policy. All the information we collect will be confidential and we will not use names or identifying information in any results, publication or presentations. That is, the information you share with us will be anonymised.

For the focus groups and interviews, we would like to make the anonymised transcripts available to other researchers via the University of Bristol Data Repository – you will not be identifiable. A team at the University of Bristol will make sure that only real researchers can access these transcripts.  There is more information in each of the three participant information leaflets on the “taking part” page of this website.

If you have any questions, you can contact the research team – we are really happy to talk to you about any concerns or questions you might have: contact us.
